M&E Engineer: On-Site Delivery & QA Lead
Job summary
A leading consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to monitor site progress and ensure installation quality. Responsibilities include conducting QA/QC inspections, reviewing work for compliance, and coordinating M&E drawings. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strong technical knowledge in relevant trades, and familiarity with local regulations. This role emphasizes safety standards and effective coordination with subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical trades.
- Familiarity with local codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor site progress and ensure installation quality.
- Review works and products for compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate M&E drawings and ensure quality production of service drawings.
- Conduct QA/QC inspections and manage engagements.
- Maintain accurate site inspection and T&C records.
- Gather cost data for variation orders and provide recommendations.
- Check completed work and confirm supplied materials for payments.
- Enforce safety standards on site.
- Attend daily site coordination meetings.
