About the role

As a Facilities Assistant at Sodexo Singapore Pte Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's facilities. This full-time position is based in the Raffles Place Central Region, where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the facilities management team.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the facility's physical infrastructure, including lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
2. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee repairs and upgrades.
3. Assist with the implementation of safety and security protocols to protect the facility and its occupants.
4. Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
5. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to facility operations and maintenance.
6. Collaborate with the facilities management team to identify and implement process improvements.
7. Ensure the facility's common areas and shared spaces are well-maintained and presentable.

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in a similar facilities assistant or building maintenance role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
2. Strong working knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
3. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in using relevant facilities management software and tools.
7. Commitment to maintaining a safe and well-organized work environment.
