Job description

The incumbent will play a critical operational role in managing day-to-day HR functions and ensuring the smooth running of workforce-related activities. This position requires a resourceful and self-driven individual who can operate independently while handling a broad spectrum of responsibilities. As the organisation continues to grow, the scope of this role may evolve, and the incumbent must be adaptable, flexible, and comfortable navigating changing operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
Policy Review & Administration
  • Review and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and alignment with internal practices.

  • Provide recommendations for policy enhancements where required.

Dormitory Management
  • Manage the administration and upkeep of employee dormitories, including room allocation, liaison with dormitory operators, addressing resident concerns, and ensuring adherence to regulatory accommodation requirements.

Training & Development
  • Coordinate employee training programmes, liaise with external training providers, maintain training records, and support competency-building initiatives across the organisation.

Staff Engagement & Events
  • Plan, organise, and execute staff engagement activities, welfare initiatives, and company events to foster a positive, inclusive, and motivated work environment.

HR Operations & Support
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining employee records, and addressing staff queries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to the canteen team during peak lunch periods / manpower shortages when required.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in HR operations or a generalist capacity is preferred.
