Assistant Crewing Manager
For a Leading MNC Shipowner in Singapore
A prominent European shipowner company is seeking an experienced Crewing professional to join their expanding Marine HR team. The incumbent will primarily focus on coordinating daily recruitment activities for hiring seafarers for the fleet through the company’s appointed Manning Offices. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the Marine HR Manager to review and forecast manpower requirements and prepare staffing plans for the fleet, factoring in internal promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, source, and coordinate recruitment of ship staff to meet fleet manpower requirements.
Process recruitment applications for all ship staff positions, including Senior Officers and Senior Engineers.
Recruit and select qualified seafarers to ensure fleet readiness and compliance with international regulations.
Ensure adherence to STCW certifications, Seafarers Employment, and relevant maritime legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of relevant crewing experience with a ship manager or owner.
Strong knowledge of STCW certifications, Seafarers Employment, and maritime regulations.
