Overview

As a People Consultant at Zscaler, you will be an integral part of the People & Culture (P&C) team reporting to the Senior Director HR- Asia Pacific & Japan. Your primary role will involve collaborating with the Regional Business Partnership team to design and implement people and culture-related programs that align with the business objectives across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to managers, directors, and senior leaders on HR solutions that support organizational goals, manage complex people challenges, and lead change efforts.
  • Partner with leaders to analyze HR data, address employee concerns, and implement targeted HR programs to enhance team engagement and performance.
  • Support managers in areas such as employee relations, policy compliance, HR data analysis, process improvements, and basic HR initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analyze data to support diversity programs, gain leadership insights, and identify key issues and root causes for process improvements.
  • Resolve employee issues while aligning support areas with the organizational strategy.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR business partnering with advanced HR data analysis, resolving people-related queries, program execution, and knowledge of local labor laws/practices.
  • Experience as a People Partner in a complex, high-volume, high-growth environment with the ability to manage ambiguity and develop solutions.
  • Building relationships with leadership and employees, along with advanced evaluative and influencing skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include a demonstrated understanding of metrics, drivers, and compensation plans, as well as strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills for presenting facts and recommendations.
  • A Master’s degree in human resources or a related field would be advantageous.
