Job summary
A local medical clinic in Singapore is looking for a qualified nurse to handle front-desk operations, assist doctors in clinical procedures, and provide nursing care. The ideal candidate must possess a Diploma in Nursing, a valid practicing certificate, and certifications in BCLS and AED. Good communication skills and familiarity with administrative tasks like claims submission are essential. This role requires a rotating shift including certain weekends, creating a dynamic work environment in a healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification is a Diploma in Nursing.
- Valid practicing certificate from Singapore Nursing Board is required.
- BCLS & AED certified is necessary for this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform front-desk duties including patient registration and appointment booking.
- Support doctors in clinical procedures and provide nursing care.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as claims submission and stock management.

- Perform front-desk duties including patient registration, appointment booking, dispensing of medication, billing, and payment collection.
- Attend to patient enquiries and provide a positive patient care experience.
- Support doctors in clinical procedures, including chaperoning, vaccinations, blood taking, wound dressing, monitoring vital signs, and coordination of laboratory/diagnostic services.
- Provide nursing care, including history taking, patient education, counselling, and dispensing.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as claims submission, stock management, and clinic audits.
- Perform other duties related to patient care and clinic operations as assigned.
- 5.5‑day rotating shift (AM, Noon & Evening) workweek (Weekday + 1 Weekend (Either Saturday or Sunday).
- No overnight shifts.
- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Nursing
- Possess a valid practicing certificate (Singapore Nursing Board)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- BCLS & AED Certified
- Familiarity with Plato CMS.
- Experience in submission of insurance and Medisave claims.
- Proficiency in Mandarin/Dialects is an advantage to assist non-English-speaking elderly patients. (This is included as a job necessity rather than a preference to align with fair hiring practices.)
