A leading research institute in Singapore is seeking a motivated Research Scientist to tackle material and process challenges in composite mechanics. The successful candidate will work on innovative proposals, support R&D projects, and have a strong background in CAD design and machine learning. We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Research Scientist in the Integrated Composite Processing Section. In this role, you will address material and process challenges, develop scientific-driven solutions, and contribute to both research and industry projects involving composite mechanics, process innovation, and data or AI enabled process development. The scientist is required to support both industry and R&D projects where process innovation, structural testing and material characterizations are needed. Experience in project management, grant writing and patent applications will be advantageous. Basic knowledge of composite mechanics, CAD design, finite-element analysis and machine learning is required.
