Job summary

A learning centre in Singapore is looking for a Receptionist to handle customer interactions and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include attending to walk-in customers and managing phone communications, maintaining the student management system, preparing invoices, and supporting teachers. Working hours are weekdays 10:20 am to 7:20 pm and weekends 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. Salary is in the range of $2200 to $2800. Applications are no longer accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to all walk-in potential customers and existing parents, phone calls, WhatsApp messages and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Handle registration of new students, requests for changes by existing students, and handle termination of courses.
  • Upkeep of the Centre's student management system and perform audits regularly.
  • Prepare invoices and handle payment collection.
  • Prepare debtors listing and send reminders for late payment.
  • Maintain petty cash and prepare daily collection report.
  • Support teachers in photocopying and preparing materials.
  • Assist teachers in dismissal and attendance taking.

Customer Service
  • Attend to all walk-in potential customers and existing parents, phone calls, WhatsApp messages and emails promptly and professionally
  • Handle registration of new students, attend to requests pertaining to change of courses and time slots by existing students/parents, handle termination of courses by existing students
  • Upkeep of Centre's student management system and perform audit of system regularly
Administration
  • Prepare invoices and handles payment collection
  • Prepare debtors listing and send reminders for late payment
  • Maintain petty cash and prepares daily collection report
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager
Teachers' Support
  • Support teachers in photocopying and preparing of materials and resources
  • Assist teachers in the dismissal of classes and attendance taking
  • Participate in file checking and results tracking
