Our banking client is seeking a Credit Analyst to join their Credit Department. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills and experience in corporate credit evaluation. You will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, preparing comprehensive credit reports, monitoring portfolio quality, and supporting the bank’s overall credit risk management framework.
Conduct thorough credit assessments on corporate clients and financing proposals, including:
Credit rating analysis
Credit limit assessment
Financial and non-financial analysis
Evaluation of financing structures (terms, covenants, conditions).
Prepare clear, accurate and comprehensive credit review reports and present them for credit approval.
Monitor ongoing credit exposures to ensure portfolio quality; perform periodic reviews, identify early warning signs and recommend appropriate risk-mitigation strategies.
Support department initiatives and undertake any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline with strong analytical and quantitative foundation.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in credit risk assessment within a regional or global financial institution.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to engage with internal teams and stakeholders.
Proactive, analytical and resourceful, with strong business acumen and attention to detail.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
