Job summary
A safety and drafting firm in Singapore is looking for a Safety Officer cum Drafter. Responsibilities include enforcing safety protocols, preparing risk assessment documents, and drafting site plans using AutoCAD. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in safety coordination and possess relevant safety certifications. This position requires working onsite as needed with a competitive salary up to $2,700 plus AWS.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years' experience at project sites in safety coordination.
- Possess advanced safety certifications.
Responsibilities
- Carry out safety rules according to standard operating procedures.
- Establish emergency response knowledge as Site Incident Controller.
- Prepare documents for risk assessment and method statements.
- Conduct monthly safety orientation meetings for technical staff.
- Draft project site drawings using AutoCAD.
Skills
Education
Working days and time: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm including non-office working hours when required at site or incident happens.
Working Location: Ang Mo Kio
Duties:
To carry out Safety rules according to the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions at site.
To set expectations and establish core emergency response skill and knowledge to undertake the responsibilities of a Site Incident Controller (SIC).
To prepare documents for risk assessment and method statement.
Provide monthly meeting on safety orientation to Technical staff.
To do drawing for project sites using Auto-cad for drafting.
Requirements:
1-2 years experience at project site on safety co-ordination.
Possess Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B and Above).
