A prominent investment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced investment professional with 15-20 years in investment management or related fields. The role involves conducting comprehensive investment research, evaluating opportunities, and managing portfolio performance while adhering to compliance. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and be proactive in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in a related field and CFA/CAIA credentials are a plus. The position offers opportunities in stakeholder engagement and governance.
Conduct fundamental and quantitative research across multiple asset classes.
Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, sector deep-dives, and investment memos.
Monitor macroeconomic trends and translate market developments into actionable investment insights.
Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities (public & private).
Perform due diligence including financial, commercial, legal, and risk analysis.
Coordinate with external advisors, GPs, banks, and brokers to support deal flow.
Track portfolio performance across all asset classes and entities within the family office structure.
Prepare regular reporting packages, dashboards, and performance reviews for principals.
Support rebalancing decisions, liquidity planning, and tactical asset allocation.
Assist in transaction structuring, negotiation, and closing documentation.
Work closely with legal, tax advisors, and custodians to ensure compliant execution.
Maintain accurate investment records, models, and audit support documentation.
Monitor risk exposures, investment limits, and compliance policies.
Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and sensitivity modelling.
Contribute to improving internal investment processes, controls, and best practices.
Prepare and present investment updates to principals and investment committees.
Liaise with asset managers, external partners, fund administrators, banks, and service providers.
Support special projects and strategic initiatives for the family office as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related discipline.
CFA / CAIA qualifications (completed or in progress) are an advantage.
15-20 years of experience in investment management, private equity, asset management, research, corporate finance, or related fields.
Strong financial modelling and valuation capability.
Experience working in a lean, fast-paced investment environment preferred.
Exposure to multi-asset or private markets is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce clear investment memos.
High integrity, discretion, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Proactive, independent, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Team-oriented with a flexible, “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset.
