Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Accountant for a 1-year contract in Singapore. Responsibilities include managing the financial close process, overseeing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring financial data accuracy. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in accounting and a degree in a related field. Proficiency in SAP or Oracle is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly financial close process.
- Review accounts payable/receivable and prepare reports.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance.

My client is an MNC who is a leader in their industry. Having a long-standing heritage of innovation and being a trusted partner to their clients within the industrial sector, they are committed to delivering excellence. They are currently looking for an Accountant to join the Finance team on a contractual basis for 1 year.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for the monthly financial close process including reviewing of AP/AR preparing reports, forecasts, and account reconciliations. You will ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and external requirements and ensure financial reporting is done in a timely manner. You will also help to oversee and manage the liquidation of some dormant entities.
You are ideally degree qualified in Accounting or a related field and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar capacity. You should be confident working independently in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in SAP and/or Oracle is advantageous.
