Job summary
A leading offshore solutions provider in Singapore seeks a Senior Instrument Designer to conduct Instrument Design and Drafting primarily for FPSO and FLNG facilities. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, particularly with top-tier contractors, and be well-versed in Instrument Design tools like AutoCAD and AVEVA. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects in a dynamic team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience at top-tier FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor.
- Good understanding in English, with good oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Instrument Design and Drafting and 3D Modeling for offshore Oil & gas facilities.
- Develop Instrument Design Database and deliverables in Engineering Management Platform.
- Coordinate with other designers/engineers in multi-discipline environment to ensure quality requirements.

- Senior Instrument Designer conducts design and drafting under Principal or Lead Engineer/ Lead Designer supervision mainly for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities.
- The ideal candidate for the position will have a strong background in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, be an expert in Topside Instrument Design, and Hands-on experience in Engineering Management Platform (AVEVA etc)
- Conduct Instrument Design and Drafting and 3D Modeling for offshore Oil & gas facilities
- Develop Instrument Design Database and deliverables in Engineering Management Platform and design tools such as Aveva, E3D, SP3D, Autocad etc.
- Participation in 30%, 60%, 90% model review and comment closure actions
- Coordinate with other designers/engineers in multi discipline environment to ensure deliverables are issued meeting the schedule and quality requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical / Instrumentation / Chemical
- Minimum 3 years’ experience at top-tier FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor
- Well Versed with Instrument Design Tool such as AutoCAD, AVEVA / E3D/ PDMS.
- Ability to work with and to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities.
- Good understanding in English, with good oral and written communication skill
