About the Company

We are a well-established Chinese enterprise with strong operations in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. Our group is engaged in diversified business activities including trading, manufacturing, and investment holdings. Due to business expansion, we are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Accountant (General Ledger) to join our finance team and support group accounting and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts and general ledger for assigned entities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing
• Perform balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
• Assist in preparation of management reports and financial statements
• Support audit, tax, and regulatory compliance matters
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and internal stakeholders
• Assist in intercompany reconciliation and consolidation schedules
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant GL accounting experience
• Hands-on experience in full set of accounts and month-end closing
• Familiar with SFRS and Singapore statutory requirements
• Experience in group accounting or multi-entity environment preferred
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English required to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and HQ
