A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure smooth operation of milling equipment. The role involves leading a team for routine maintenance and troubleshooting various systems. Candidates should have a degree in mechanical engineering and relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

- Ensure smooth operation of milling equipment and facilities.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians for routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

- A pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our milling equipment and facilities.
- Leads a team of maintenance technicians to perform the routine maintenance tasks on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by superior.
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
