Job summary

Qualifications

• Assist Infant Educators in supervision of Infants indoors and outdoors.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
• Comfort infants in distress and attend to their basic needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor infants during activities.
• Perform basic cleaning duties and ensure classroom hygiene.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures.

Job description

Custodial Care

• Assist Infant Educators in the supervision of Infants in the indoor and outdoor.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
• Ensure safety and well-being of infant at all times.
• Comfort infant when in distress
• Attend to infant’s basic needs by feeding them, showering, diaper changing and napping
• Assist infants during activities conducted by Infant Educators
• Supervise and monitor infants in the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damage.
• Assist in the setting up and clearing away of all activities, materials and equipment.
• Assist in preparation of milk and lunch for Infants

Environment

• Ensure classroom, equipment and facilities are clean, well-maintained, safe and secure at all times.
• Perform basic cleaning duties such as disinfecting toys and equipment or cleaning up areas after mealtimes or snacks.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures.
