Job summary
A facilities management company in Singapore seeks a candidate with a diploma in relevant fields and at least one year of experience for maintenance and inspection roles. Key responsibilities include managing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with contract terms, conducting inspections, and obtaining necessary licenses. This role may require working beyond normal hours and on weekends.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends/PHs where required.
Responsibilities
- Schedule breakdown, preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure contractors properly execute and complete maintenance works.
- Conduct regular inspections of common property.
- Apply for and obtain all necessary licenses and certificates.
- Prepare and maintain minutes and resolutions for circulation.
- Enforce warranties provided by contractors.
Skills
Education
- Schedule breakdown, preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all repair and routine maintenance works carried out by the contractors are properly executed and satisfactorily completed in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.
- Conduct regular inspections of the Town’s common property to ensure it is in satisfactory, serviceable condition and properly maintained in accordance with the standards set by the relevant authorities, and recommend any necessary works to the Town Council.
- Apply for and obtain all necessary licenses and certificates from the relevant authorities.
- Prepare and maintain minutes and resolutions for circulation to the Town Council and relevant authorities as required.
- Act on behalf of the Town Council, when necessary, to enforce current warranties provided by contractors for building components.
- Diploma in Facilities Management Services / Estate Management / Building Maintenance / Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Able to work beyond normal working hours (5-day work week) and on weekends/ PHs where required.
