Technician
Job summary
A facilities management company in Singapore seeks an individual to assist in site management and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring all installations are in working condition, supervise contractors, and handle client feedback. Applicants should possess a Nitec in Building/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with at least 2 years' experience in commercial building maintenance. A proactive, independent, and service-oriented mindset is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Min 2 years of relevant working experience in maintaining commercial buildings.
- Ability to perform under pressure with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and maintenance of the site.
- Conduct inspections to ensure all installations are in good working condition.
- Oversee works/services to ensure timely delivery according to Client's requirements.
- Supervise contractors during maintenance.
Skills
Education
- You will assist in the management and maintenance of the site in accordance with the contractual requirements and standards set by the Client.
- You will work in a team to carry out daily routine works in the building including conducting inspections to ensure that all building installations and equipment are maintained according to schedule and are in good working condition.
- You will carry out work plans and programmes in accordance with Client’s guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and statutory requirements and attend to feedback, complaints and services as requested by the Client.
- You will oversee works/services and ensure that services are delivered on time and according to Client’s requirements.
- You will also supervise and manage contractors on the scheduled maintenance of various functions and systems within the building premises.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Building/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Min 2 years of relevant working experience in maintaining commercial buildings
- Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure
- Good team worker with service-orientated mindset
