Responsibilities:

General Ledger & Month-End Closing:

• Perform monthly closing activities, including preparing journal entries and financial schedules for sections such as accruals and prepayments (excluding COS).

Balance Sheet Management:

• Maintain accurate accounting treatment and entries of Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations and supporting schedules.

Profit & Loss Management:

• Maintain and prepare journal entries for operating expenses, including manpower, G&A, marketing, rental, and maintenance costs.
• Account for finance income/expenses and unrealized foreign exchange differences.

Audit Support:

• Assist in statutory audits, ensuring timely and accurate submission of schedules and documentation, including XBRL filing per ACRA requirements.

Tax Provisioning:

• Prepare tax provisions and support corporate tax compliance in accordance with IRAS regulations.

Budget vs Actual Analysis via Cost Centre Reporting:

• Perform quarterly reporting and analysis of financial performance against budget, highlighting key variances for respective cost centres.

Ad-hoc Projects or Assignments:

• Participate in projects such as system migration, special audits, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Role Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive attitude and self-motivation.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of accounting software; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
