The Executive, Finance is responsible for the month-end closing activities. He/she shall provide finance and accounting support to the Manager, Regional Finance and the responsibilities shall cover:

• Full sets of Accounts
• Prepare Balance Sheet schedules, intercompany reconciliation, journal entries for accruals and prepayments
• Daily accounting functions such as data entry, invoicing, payment preparation, proper filing of documents
• Review employees’ expense claims
• Maintain and update Fixed Assets Register
• GST Reporting
• Ensure completeness and validity of documents before payment processing
• Coordinate with other departments/ colleagues relating to business operation

Others

• Assist in Financial Audit and liaison with Corporate Secretarial and Tax Consultant
• Assist in Brand Management – updating Master Files, AR functions, document filing
• Other ad hoc tasks as required

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree holders in Accountancy or equivalent
• 2-3 years working experience in full sets of accounts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (especially MS Excel)
• Knowledge in Quickbooks is a plus, otherwise training will be provided
• Good team player with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team
• Possess strong initiative, good interpersonal & communication skills
• Organized, meticulous and able to multi-task
