Job summary
A staffing and search company in Singapore is seeking a Service Center Assistant to provide customer support, perform cost estimations, and troubleshoot issues. You will validate equipment warranties and manage customer escalations. Candidates should be ready for a contract role with working hours from 9AM to 6:30PM, Monday to Friday. Applications with past work experience are encouraged, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in Service Center.
- Perform cost estimation based on guidelines.
- Provide 1st level troubleshooting.
- Validate equipment warranty and inform customers.
- Issue payment receipts before equipment release.
- Resolve non-hardware issues for customers.
- Document customers' equipment condition.
- Handle customer escalations until resolution.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
- Provide assistance to customers in Service Center.
- Perform cost estimation based on guidelines sharing with customers on cost of repair
- Responsible to provide customer with 1st level troubleshooting.
- Perform equipment warranty and/or contract validation, inform customer the scope of warranty for the equipment before creating a repair case in system.
- Issuance of payment receipt before releasing the equipment to the customer.
- Resolve customer issues upfront for non-hardware / replacement related issues
- To take down customers unit existing physical condition and accessories if any and obtain customers acknowledgement.
- Handle and manage customer escalation, follow-up with respective personnel until resolution is offered and/or issue is resolved.
- Other adhoc task as assigned.
Working hours: 9.00am to 6.30pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract: 12 months (renewable)
