A leading facilities management provider in Singapore seeks a Building Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure maintenance standards. This role demands 10 years of experience, expertise with high-rise buildings, and Fire Safety Manager certification. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage contracts, and liaise with clients to enhance service delivery in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience with high-rise buildings (10 storey and above).
  • Fire Safety Manager certificate required.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Class 3 driving license is an advantage.

Job description
  • Lead a team of Managers, Executives and Technicians to run daily operation at the clients premise not limiting to ensuring and overseeing the performance standards of staff to promote efficient and effective maintenance of the building.
  • Attend to all cases and emergencies promptly and rectify them with minimal inconvenience and disruption and also assist the authority in drafting of specifications and contract administration.
  • Responsible for the delivery and performance of IFM contract deliverables, planning and supervision of preventive maintenance works in the clients premise.
  • Required to meet KPI standards, devise pro-active measures to improve building maintenance standards and efficiency and regularly review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure full compliance to regulatory requirements.
  • Key point of contact with Client and Key stakeholders across client sites for the areas of responsibility and its occupants, and act as their service provider liaison.
  • Leading the onsite team and ensuring that CPG FM team (employee and service partners) delivers FM and workplace services to the highest standard resulting in safe, code-compliant, functional, comfortable, energy efficient and attractive facilities and site infrastructure.
  • Responsible for the managing of contracts, Capex & Opex expense budgets within approved allocations and provides monthly updates.
  • Assist and provide support to immediate superior.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma with relevant qualifications with 10 years of relevant working experience
  • Prefers experiences in handlinghigh rise building (10 storey and above)
  • Must have Fire Safety Manager certificate and experience
  • Has experience leading a team
  • Possess Class 3 driving license will be advantage
