Job description

Overview

As a Consultant, you will be carrying out your clinical responsibilities at both Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID), providing clinical care to outpatients and inpatients with various Infectious Diseases. You will be contributing to the dynamic and fluid work in both ambulatory and inpatient care, in general infectious diseases, HIV medicine and outbreak response and preparedness. There will be a range of work available including outpatient consults to more complex medical cases. Additional duties and responsibilities include undergraduate and postgraduate medical education work, quality and research.

Contract

The suitable candidate will be offered a 2 to 3 year contract position.

Requirements

• Basic Medical Degree and relevant postgraduate qualification(s) (e.g. MRCP, FRACP);
• Registered (or meet registration criteria) as a Specialist with Singapore Medical Council;
• Relevant experience in Infectious Diseases and complete specialist training in Infectious Diseases that can be accredited by Specialist Accreditation Board
