Job summary

A financial services company is seeking a Bank Accounting Officer for a contract role until August. The successful candidate will generate financial reports, manage accounting records, and conduct bank reconciliations. A degree and at least 3 years of bank accounting experience are required. Strong proficiency in MS Excel is essential. This position is open only to Singaporeans.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in bank accounting.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely financial and management reports on a daily basis.
• Maintain precise financial records while ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly reports for Head Office and MAS.
• Reconcile Head Office bank accounts on a daily basis.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reports.
• Collaborate and communicate with the Head Office for support and coordination.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries for IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Undertake other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management as needed.
