Job summary
A global nonprofit education organization in Singapore is seeking a Program Coordinator/Assistant for a 3.5-month contract. This role involves coordinating student activities, providing administrative support, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Program Coordinator / Assistant, CIEE Global Institute – Singapore (3.5 months contract job)
CIEE is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization, CIEE is the world leader in international education and exchange. For more than 75 years CIEE has helped thousands of people gain the knowledge and skills necessary to live and work in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world by offering the most comprehensive, relevant, and valuable exchange programs available. Serving over 300 U.S. College and University consortium members, CIEE operates in more than forty study centers globally and support study abroad programs for over 6,000 students annually.
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of CIEE student activities and events including; Airport arrivals, orientation, farewells, logistics of study tours, and extra-curricular activities.
- Assist the Academic team as required in the logistics of co-curricular activities.
- Support the development and coordination of HSSA Programs as required.
- Support the development and maintenance of relevant community partnerships and networks.
- Coordinate student volunteer opportunities, cultural and social activities and student interest groups.
- Provide general administrative and office support for the Program Manager and wider Global Institute network.
- Support student accommodation orientation as required on arrival and ensure compliance with HSS procedures and compliance.
- Respond to medical and other emergencies as appropriate. Ensuring proficient and timely reporting of student cases to management, including timely reporting in Salesforce for incidents.
- Maintain understanding and compliance of all CIEE policies in particular concerning health, safety and security.
- Education – Tertiary qualifications and relevant experience is a plus.
- Communication —excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
