COENS Energy is assisting a client in the marine/offshore sector to hire a commercial professional. The position involves handling commercial operations, reviewing contracts, monitoring costs, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and explore new business opportunities in marine and offshore projects.
• Build and maintain strong connections with clients, brokers, and industry partners.
• Manage contract compliance, including milestone payments, claims, and variations.
• Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, and cost assessments.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and procurement to validate budgets and schedules.
• Support the handover process from commercial planning to project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of commercial experience in marine, offshore, or shipbuilding.
• Solid understanding of contracts, cost planning, and project execution.
• Proven track record in client engagement and business development.
