Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Engineer is to manage the team in the respective Areas and Central Operations to carry out daily back-end engineering maintenance works and ensuring excellency and consistency in operational supports within client site according to the design intents of the various mechanical, electrical, medical and specialist systems.

Job Description

• To manage and supervise the team consist of technicians, supervisor in the respective satellite areas or Central Operations to carry out daily front-end engineering maintenance works and ensuring excellency in operational supports to the various specialist clinics, wards, operating theatres, retail shops, back of house etc.
• Identify engineering issues and troubleshooting to response to end users’ request. Resolving and mitigating potential engineering problems and potential cause to system breakdown. Work closely with the Central Operations to tackle engineering problems.
• To plan the resources available to align with the operational requirements for fix it and programmed maintenance.
• Managing all minor repairs and fix it work within the budget.
• To obtain quotation from sub-contractor and process purchase order for all repair works and work with all sub-contractors to perform repair works to maintain the facilities within the constant improving expectations of the client.
• Manage relationship with all specialist's sub-con and contractors appointed by the hospital to achieve the required KPI, client’s expectations and deliverables in the contract with client site.
• To work closely with the client to identify areas of opportunities to improve the facilities and generate additional revenue by securing additional works.

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Building Services Estates Management) with minimum three (3) years' experience in supervision works.
• Minimum of five (5) years working experience with technical knowledge on electrical and electronic troubleshooting and report writings.
• Good knowledge of ACMV system and building work repair.

Working Details

Working days & hours: Monday to Thursday / 8.30 am to 6.00 pm, Friday is 8.30am to 5.30pm plus alternate Saturday 8.30am to 12.30pm.
