The Smart Building Solutions (SBS) is a Regional Solution and Service business unit, part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect in Enterprise Security System with digital knowledge to strengthen our design and bid activities in ASEAN. You will ensure high quality design, competitive proposals and support sales to bring the account across to the finish line. You will be part for countries digital business growth in collaboration with country management and peers, regional SBS teams of Portfolio and Principal Solution Architects among others for developing and delivering Security System and digital solutions to the market. Position will be in Singapore with expected travelling within ASEAN countries. Responsibilities Collaborate with sales leads, business partners, and other stakeholders to build strong and collaborative relationships and gain a deep understanding of various systems and integrations. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Security systems, IT/OT, Software applications, and innovations and make recommendations from a perspective of design, integration, and technical fit with other systems. Translate functional requirements into the architecture for the solution and describe it through architecture and design. Call out risks and issues proactively and resolve blockers to ensure timely delivery of agreed business outcomes. Collaborate and coordinate with HQ on portfolio releases, contents, and training/learning. Select, review, and efficiently handle external agencies and suppliers as required, including via blended internal/external delivery models. Collaborate with Security partners on products roadmap. Ensure Cybersecurity is a vital aspect considered in all stages of design. What will you need to succeed? Required Education, Knowledge/Skills, and Experience Good bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject such as Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in bid/presales management, running requirements gathering workshops and functional/user testing workshops Strong Security system experience and market understanding with related integration to IT, OT, Software/Application, Cloud or/and IoT platform Have a strong acumen to fit portfolio/solutions to customer problems Organized, attention to detail, adaptable with a can-do attitude Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships across diverse groups, translating technical concepts for business audiences, and business concepts for technical audiences Strong reading, writing and presentation skills in English is important Able to work remotely, independently and in different time zones Able to lead inexperienced teams and partners in iterative bid development techniques driven by market response Keen interest in emerging technologies to support and improve consumer experience Detailed practical understanding of digital development technologies and subject areas e.g. UX, business analysis, UI design, architecture, testing, technology infrastructure Strong understanding of SDK, API and industry standards communication protocol (i.e. BACNET, MQTT) Experience in Smart building design and technologies will be added advantage Vertical exposure in Healthcare, Airport, Commercial Real Estate, Higher Education and/or Public Sector will be added advantage PMP and/or ITIL certification will be and added advantage Professional certifications in AWS and/or Azure Certified Solution Architect will be added advantage We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
