Job summary
A chemical manufacturing firm in Singapore is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead the team and manage production activities. The ideal candidate will have an ITE in Engineering with a preference for a Chemistry background and at least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. This permanent role includes responsibilities such as overseeing production processes and maintaining compliance with ISO standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Background in Chemistry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach team members for effective performance.
- Manage daily production activities including inventory control.
- Participate in the entire production process.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of production machinery.
- Ensure compliance with ISO documentation.

- Lead, train, and coach team members to ensure effective performance and teamwork
- Manage and oversee daily production activities, including purchasing, inventory control, stock management, and work scheduling
- Participate actively in the entire production process from raw material preparation to the completion of finished products
- Perform cleaning and basic troubleshooting of production machinery to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee the full manufacturing process, including purchase requests, material withdrawal and issuance, and handover of finished goods to the warehouse
- Create, maintain, and update records in the SAP system
- Maintain and update ISO documentation, records, and related compliance materials
- Support internal and external audit processes by ensuring proper documentation and adherence to standards
- Coordinate with inter-departments to ensure production runs according to schedule
- Perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the Superior or Management
- Min. ITE in Engineering, preferably Chemistry background
- Min.3 years of working experience in manufacturing industry
