Job summary
A financial services company in Singapore is seeking a Business Risk Manager. The role involves identifying, assessing, and managing risks while developing sustainable growth strategies within operational risk frameworks. The ideal candidate has over 4 years of experience in operational risk management and a solid track record of achievement. Responsibilities include implementing controls, managing risk profiles, and ensuring new product launches meet market needs. This position is key to driving the company’s mission in finance innovation.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in operational risk management within financial services.
- Proven track record of interpreting and organising complex data.
- Ability to assume responsibilities quickly.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, document, and review risks.
- Design, implement, and test controls.
- Take ownership of credit risk profile for acquiring products.
- Develop and test key procedures.
- Create and review key risk indicators.
- Manage and deliver risk incident reports.
- Ensure new features are ready for market launch.

We’re looking for a Business Risk Manager to sit within the first line of defence at Revolut. Someone with an analytical mind to develop sustainable growth strategies that align with operational risk frameworks and take our risk management procedures to the next level.

- Identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing risks
- Designing, implementing, and testing controls
- Taking ownership of credit risk profile for acquiring products to prepare for the next phase of growth
- Developing and testing key procedures
- Creating and reviewing key risk indicators
- Registering risk events, managing, and delivering risk incident reports
- Working with product teams to ensure new features are ready for market launch
- 4+ years of experience in operational risk management within financial services
- Experience with risk identification, monitoring, and controls (implementation and testing)Previous examples of practically interpreting and organising complex data
- A solid track record of achievement, having won competition awards (can be any of academic, professional, and/or sport)
- The ability to quickly assume responsibilities
- An organised and methodological approach
- Experience working with merchant acquiring products
