Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a System Analyst to manage security-related projects and liaise with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have over 6 years of experience, preferably in a finance environment, and possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Role: System Analyst

Job Requisition Number: IS-64148

Job Level: 1-2 years of relevant experience (L1)

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage obsolescence/security-related projects and assessments across GMET division
  • Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams and other stakeholders (including vendors) when necessary
  • Monitor and track remediation efforts/budgets for obsolescence, vulnerabilities, and other security-related projects
  • Prepare and present regular status updates, dashboards and reports to management
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms to maximize value and minimize risk
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align vendor capabilities with business needs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to vendor management processes
Key Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• At least 6 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.

Essential:

  • Analytical skills. Able to analyse data, requirements and gaps to review and identify areas for improvements
  • Attention to detail. Able to identify any potential errors, discrepancies and problem areas
  • Good communicator. Has strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to explain complex terminology and issues in layman’s terms when communicating in person or in documentation
  • Interpersonal skills. Possesses ability to build good working relationships with various stakeholders. Able to be patient and active listener.
  • Time management. Must manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Proactive and Team player. Can actively track deliverables, follow up with teammates proactively and collaborate with colleagues when needed.
Technical skills

Has advanced MS Office knowledge like PowerPoint for presentation, Word for documentation, Excel for data analysis or computing, etc.

  • Documentation. Strong writing skills and presentation.
  • New system development. Know-how in new system development or project implementation environment.
