About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SME Relationship Manager to acquire new-to-bank SME clients and grow an assigned portfolio through cross‑selling of cash management and financing solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially driven banker who enjoys client acquisition, relationship management, and delivering tailored financial solutions to growing businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new SME clients and build a sustainable, profitable portfolio
  • Manage end‑to‑end client relationships, including onboarding, servicing, and retention
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales and revenue targets
  • Cross‑sell a full suite of business banking products, including:
    • Business accounts and cash management
    • Working capital and lending solutions
    • Trade finance, investments, insurance, and hedging products
  • Structure and recommend appropriate solutions based on client needs and risk profile
  • Conduct KYC, customer due diligence, and ongoing client reviews
  • Address client enquiries and complaints professionally to ensure high service standards
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across credit, trade, operations, and specialist teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in SME / Business Banking
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, lending, and working capital solutions
  • Familiarity with KYC, FATCA, and CRS requirements
  • Proven track record in client acquisition, portfolio growth, and cross‑selling
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
