Qualifications

Education / Licensure:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing in the country of professional practice (Diploma from Western and similar countries, otherwise Bachelor’s Degree) (Essential).
Current Licensed/Registered Nurse (RN) from the country of professional practice (Essential).
Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Classification and Registration in good standing (Essential).

Professional Experience:
Saudi: Minimum of one (1) year working experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute healthcare/hospital setting (100 beds or more), with experience in Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics/Operating Room/Post Anesthesia Recovery Room/High Dependency Unit/Emergency Room (Desirable).
Non-Saudi: Minimum of five (5) years working experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute healthcare/hospital setting (100 beds or more), including at least two (2) years in Medical/Surgical/Pediatric/Operating Room/Post Anesthesia Recovery Room/High Dependency Unit/Emergency Room (Essential).

Requirements and Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide assistance to all trainees and trainers on daily surgical training procedures.
2. Support wet lab operations, ensure safety, and compliance with CBAHI standards and other regulations.
3. Manage and organize all training courses, ensuring all requirements are met.
4. Oversee cleanliness, organization, and safety of all wet lab areas.
5. Supervise training activities, guide the wet lab team for ongoing and upcoming lectures and trainings.
6. Provide accurate reports of wet lab activities, including courses, attendance, and lessons, to the Director of Residency Training Department regularly.
7. Request supplies, equipment, and instruments needed for daily operations.
8. Demonstrate current ophthalmic, emergency, medical/surgical knowledge, and recognize potential emergency situations.
9. Manage emergency situations competently, including code blue and ocular emergencies.
10. Demonstrate supervisory skills in the wet lab.
11. Uphold the standards of the International Council for Nurses - Code of Ethics.
12. Understand and apply the nursing process with continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
13. Perform duties professionally, effectively, and confidentially.
14. Perform other related duties as assigned.
