About the job
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and installation supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritizing those tasks completion.
Responsibilities:- Work on projects in the energy, petrochemical, oil, and gas industry.
- Design, specification, and documentation of automation systems.
- Develop project scope of work i.e. functional and technical requirements and use-case development.
- Develop testing criteria and user-acceptance documents.
- Facilitate tasks related to executing Proof of Concepts, actual projects including commissioning on customer site.
- Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines.
- Manage project procurement, cost accounting, purchase orders, invoicing as well as underlying tasks internally and with third-party suppliers. This includes negotiation and problem solving and reporting.
- Project progress tracking, regular business reviews with management, making sure that all defined projects are using the planning process in the project management tool.
- Update progress and reports status, the process set up with PMs.
- Maintaining documentation and access rights in Microsoft SharePoint.
- Assist the business development team in responding to RFIs/RFPs and the submittal process.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager.
- Strong experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Familiarity with safety policies and procedures is a PLUS.
- Experience with standards of the oil and gas industry in Saudi Arabia is a PLUS.
