Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Specialist with strong procurement expertise and proven experience working with the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) or in the Saudi energy/utilities sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process with a focus on strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation, ensuring compliance with local and SEC-specific procurement standards.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and organizational goals.
• Manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier selection for goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, evaluate bids, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms.
• Ensure adherence to Saudi Electricity Company’s procurement policies, regulations, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, and finance to align procurement activities with project needs.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring reliable supply and performance.
• Monitor supplier KPIs and drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations.
• Oversee inventory planning and control in coordination with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain and procurement, preferably within the power or utilities sector.
• Direct experience working with or supporting Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco/SEC vendor qualification processes, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and government procurement regulations (if applicable).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Certification in supply chain/procurement (e.g., CIPS, CSCP, PMP) is an advantage.
