About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Government Relations Supervisor to manage all interactions with government agencies, ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations, and oversee key government platforms and processes that support our industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Government Liaison & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary representative for all government‑related matters, maintaining effective relationships with ministries, authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Facilitate communication between the company and government agencies to support strategic goals and operational needs.
  • Coordinate governmental visits, inspections, and official meetings.
2. Government Platforms Management
  • Administer and manage all activities on Qiwa, including employment contracts, company services, and compliance monitoring.
  • Oversee Ajeer contracts, issuance, renewals, and alignment with labor regulations.
  • Act as an authorized representative on Muqeem, ensuring accurate and timely processing of residency (Iqama) services.
  • Track, monitor, and maintain compliance with Nitaqat levels, ensuring optimal Saudization status.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Renewals
  • Monitor, manage, and renew all required company licenses, industrial permits, commercial registrations, municipality licenses, and other governmental certificates.
  • Ensure all renewals are completed on time to avoid penalties, with a structured plan for proactive compliance.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of applicable governmental procedures, laws, and regulatory frameworks for the industrial sector.
4. Employee Government Services
  • Oversee all government transactions for employees, including work permits, Iqamas, visas, GOSI, and other relevant services.
  • Manage government‑related payments and fees, ensuring accurate planning, timely execution, and proper documentation.
  • Implement a continuous and disciplined action plan to ensure high‑quality, precise, and timely delivery of all employee government services.
5. Policy Advocacy & Legislative Monitoring
  • Monitor changes in labour laws, industrial regulations, visa policies, and operational requirements; provide impact analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  • Represent the company in consultations or discussions affecting regulatory obligations or industry policies.
6. Departmental Performance & Reporting
  • Maintain and enhance the operational efficiency of the Government Relations department, ensuring high service quality and minimal delays.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc reports covering compliance status, government transactions, renewals, Nitaqat positioning, and departmental KPIs.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to elevate departmental performance.
7. Crisis Management
  • Assist in resolving government‑related issues, violations, or unexpected regulatory challenges.
  • Coordinate action plans to prevent and mitigate risks or operational interruptions.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or regulatory compliance, preferably within the industrial sector.
  • Proven experience managing Qiwa, Ajeer, Muqeem, GOSI, and other government platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian labour laws, industrial regulations, and governmental processes.
  • Prior experience in managing company licences, renewals, and industrial permits.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle government payments, fees, and employee‑related governmental transactions.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time‑management skills with a high degree of discipline.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken & written).
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
