alfanar Building Systems focuses on core manufacturing activities including real estate development, facade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products, and precast concrete products and architectural elements.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced QS Electrical Engineer to support our construction projects by managing all quantity surveying activities related to electrical works. The role requires strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Accountability Areas
  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for electrical scope of works.
  • Prepare accurate BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates for electrical systems (power, lighting, ELV, MV/LV, etc.).
  • Coordinate with tendering, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate cost and material data.
  • Identify risks, variations, and cost implications, and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date reports, records, and cost documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical standards, codes, and project requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical works, materials, and industry practices.
  • Proficiency in QS software and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
