Job summary
A consulting firm is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Governance Consultant in Al-Qassim Province, Saudi Arabia. This senior-level role involves developing and implementing data governance strategies and leading a team to enhance data integrity and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data governance and strong project management skills. This position is open exclusively to Arabic-speaking candidates.

- Extensive knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality metrics, and regulatory frameworks.

Your expertise will be crucial in fostering a culture of data stewardship and promoting best practices across all levels of the company.
- Lead the development and execution of data governance frameworks and policies aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Consult with clients to assess their data governance needs, providing tailored recommendations for improvement.
- Train and mentor junior data governance consultants and data stewards on best practices and governance standards.
- Monitor and evaluate data governance implementation and compliance, making adjustments as necessary to meet evolving business and regulatory demands.
- Act as a key liaison between IT, compliance, and business units to ensure a cohesive approach to data management and governance.
- Master’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality metrics, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex data governance initiatives on time and within scope.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are highly desirable.
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica), data cataloging, and data quality assessment tools.
- Familiarity with advanced data analytics and emerging trends in data management.
