Faculty Position in Statistics 2021/2022

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is hiring for faculty positions in the Division of Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Science and Engineering, specifically in the field of Statistics.

The current challenges in statistical data sciences involve processing massive data, building robust statistical models, and developing efficient computational tools. Opportunities exist to conduct impactful research addressing inferential and forecasting problems across various complex processes, including biological, social, physical, epidemiological, climatological, and environmental domains.

The Statistics Program (https://stat.kaust.edu.sa) aims to advance statistical data science by developing modern approaches for rigorous inference. This work will support research and policy-making by providing reliable information and measures of uncertainty, essential for timely and sound decisions.

To meet these global needs, KAUST's Statistics Program is hiring multiple open-rank faculty positions with expertise in these core areas.
