Logistic Supervisor

Aufgaben
- Manage warehouse operations to support production lines.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to meet performance targets.
- Conduct inventory management and ensure compliance with policies.
- Plan shipments and coordinate with logistics partners.
Ensure that the warehouse is managed efficiently to support the production lines. Supervise warehouse operators responsible for incoming materials, line feeding, and shipping activities.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the storage, and delivery of goods.
- Efficiently utilize space and mechanical handling equipment, ensuring quality and budgetary targets are met.
- Clearly understand the company's policies and vision, and how the warehouse contributes to these.
- Maintain accurate and timely inventory transactions, both physical and system-based (JDE), and conduct perpetual cycle counting initiatives. Plan for future capacity requirements.
- Manage repackaging activities and the handling of consumables and empty containers.
- Supervise the flow of waste containers.
- Ensure safety and adherence to 5S standards in the warehouse, including the proper use of PPE in all logistics areas.
- Ensure proper segregation of materials based on compatibility and inventory status.
- Conduct monthly surveillance checks on raw materials and finished goods to ensure they are within shelf life and packaging integrity is intact.
- Properly store and handle materials to avoid damage or loss.
- Conduct inventory control management and inventory counting.
- Ensure the proper management of logistic equipment and forklifts in accordance with contracts and maintenance plans.
- Plan and manage shipments according to export schedules and customer requirements.
- Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitor staff performance and progress.
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
- Co‑ordinate with forwarders and haulage agents to ensure efficient and timely movement of shipments.
- Drive for freight cost reduction and shipment consolidation to reduce handling charges.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of shipping documents to shipping agent and customers.
- Monitor and drive for improvement on shipping lead time.
- Renewal of LMW license, Sub‑contract license, Poison License, Rubber License.
- Compliance to license requirements, which includes submissions of monthly inventory movement reports.
- Application for customs duties and taxes on all inbound items, where applicable.
