Job description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Perform welding tasks in accordance with Fisher’s standards using GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW processes.

  • Work closely with the Supervisor and relevant sections on all welding-related activities, including rework.

  • Ensure production meets Fisher Quality Standards and on-time delivery requirements.

  • Maintain daily housekeeping and machine upkeep.

  • Perform daily maintenance on welding machines.

  • Update Job Pack and move Oracle transactions after process completion.

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.

  • Report tool, consumable, or equipment issues/requirements to the Supervisor.

  • Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
  • A disciplined and skilled welder who demonstrates strong ownership of quality and safety.

  • Able to collaborate effectively with Inspectors, Planners, Buyers, Assemblers, Machinists, and Engineers.

  • Responsible, proactive, and committed to maintaining high workmanship standards.

  • Someone who takes initiative, is action-oriented, and performs well under production demands.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Minimum 5 years of welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication industries.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience welding pressure parts.

  • Proficiency in GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding processes.

  • Familiarity with basic welding machine settings.

  • Age between 25 and 45.

  • Strong experience in multi-process welding with consistently high‑quality output.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve welding defects.

  • Ability to optimize welding processes to improve workflow and reduce defects.

  • Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

  • Ability to follow instructions, uphold safety standards, and exercise Stop Work Authority when necessary.
