Job summary

A leading water technology firm is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to manage daily operations at a water treatment plant in Gelang Patah, Johor. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a degree in Engineering. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Knowledge of SAP and effective communication skills are essential. This role requires shift work and immediate start in December 2025.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues.
• Certification such as CePIETSO is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain all equipment of the WTP Plant.
• Perform troubleshooting for water treatment plant breakdowns.
• Conduct water sampling for internal/external lab monitoring.
• Operate pumps, valves, aerators, and other treatment plant equipment.
