A leading industrial company in Malaysia is seeking a Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain the water treatment facility. The candidate should possess a minimum of SPM with 2-3 years of experience, or a diploma in Chemical or Chemistry. Skills in operating equipment and maintaining compliance are essential. Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a Water Treatment Plant is preferred.
• EITS Competency holder is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the IETS/WTP facility and its processes.
• Conduct sampling, monitoring, and testing for compliance.
• Communicate with the plant engineer about the treatment process.

Skills

Ability to operate and monitor water treatment processes

Knowledge of basic tools and equipment

Skill in reading meters and gauges

Education

Minimum SPM

Diploma in Chemical or Chemistry
