Job summary

A leading logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety standards and efficient workflows are maintained. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma and have at least one year of experience in a similar role. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and familiarity with inventory software are essential. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and GMP is preferred. This role requires a proactive approach to warehouse management and team supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of working experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or equivalent.
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety regulations is essential.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 22000 & GMP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse general workers and daily planned tasks;
• Oversee daily inbound, QC check, putaway, storage and outbound activities;
• Communicate and coordinate well with internal & external stakeholders efficiently;
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and prepare any necessary documentation;
• Ensure warehouse space is utilized effectively and kept clean and tidy;
• Monitor warehouse general workers to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery;
• Implement appropriate safety guidelines and investigate injuries or unsafe conditions;
• Undertake other related jobs as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in any field;
• Minimum one (1) year of working experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a similar position in warehousing/distribution;
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems;
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations flow and management;
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety regulations;
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills;
• Problem-solving skills;
• Experience and knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 22000 & GMP will be an added advantage;
• Candidate with valid GDL license will be an added advantage.
