Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Report to upper management and collaborate with internal WH team to achieve goals and overcome obstacles.
  2. Familiar with warehouse WIP/SOP. Foresee problems to prevent mistakes and coach new hires.
  3. Monitor efficiency and quality of staff to complete daily job in time.
  4. Find and resolve common mistakes and errors during daily operation.
  5. Supervise teammates to make sure they meet SMC core values - Quality/Productivity/Teamwork.

Job Knowledge/Work Environment

  1. Propose both process and system improvement plan to upper management in order to achieve excellence.

Receiving team:

  1. Lead staff to execute daily receiving job and ensure the received goods are correct and in good status. Escalate the disqualified shipment to buyer or IQC to check.
  2. Book daily receiving log in SAP correctly.
  3. Track IQC completion schedule to release cargo to inventory in time.
  4. Collect and keep the damage record of received shipments to file claim.

Inventory team:

  1. Lead staff to correctly enter cargo data, including Date code, batch, revision, and COO into E-Logbook for inventory control.
  2. Ensure the daily orders are correctly processed and transferred in time to achieve KPI.
  3. Supervise the quarterly scrap program to complete in time.
  4. Monitor daily cycle count and annual physical count progress for stock accuracy.

Trucking/Packing:

  1. Lead staff to complete daily orders and ship out on time per sales shipment plan.
  2. Check and make sure the products from inventory are consistent with orders and match special handling request from customer.
  3. Oversee daily shipment released to truckers and comply with revenue recognition rule.

Qualifications

  1. High School graduation is required. Bachelor’s degree or above is a plus for this position.
  2. At least 5 years experience in warehouse operation.
  3. Familiar with any kind of ERP (SAP or others) and WMS system.
  4. MUST - Certificate of Safe Handling of Forklift Truck.
  5. Good Chinese/Bahasa Malaysia/English ability.
  6. Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint, etc.).
  7. Detail-oriented, careful, and able to work under pressure and in urgent situations.
  8. Good interpersonal skills in working with relevant parties.
  9. Leadership to drive the team performance.
  10. Fairness, ethics, and integrity.

Salary Range

MYR: 4000++/ Month.
