Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching industrial packaging materials such as drums, IBCs, or containers.
• Manage inventory control: maintain accurate stock records, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Oversee material handling, ensuring proper storage based on type, hazard classification, or material phase (raw material, WIP, finished goods).
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including loading/unloading, shipping schedules, and transport documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA/MHSA standards) and company policies in handling chemical, flammable, or heavy packaging materials.
• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse operators or material handlers, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Implement and improve warehouse processes, including space optimization, picking/packing efficiency, and packaging integrity.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to meet operational requirements and deadlines.
• Manage equipment and warehouse assets, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated storage systems, ensuring proper maintenance.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in industrial packaging, chemical, or manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, material handling, and warehouse operations.
• Leadership experience with team supervision and operational coordination.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly in handling chemical or hazardous materials.
• Physically fit and able to oversee warehouse operations involving heavy lifting and material movement.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to improve operational efficiency.
