Responsible for the overall warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, stock control, and delivery. Ensures smooth operations, accurate inventory, proper handling of fresh/frozen/dry goods, and compliance with SOPs to support efficient B2B distribution. Also supports wider company strategic objectives, including ad-hoc operational or cross-departmental tasks as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and delivery.
- Ensure proper handling of fruits, vegetables, frozen meats, and dry goods.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, equipment condition, and safety standards.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO and correct product rotation.
B. Stock & Inventory Control
- Verify incoming goods against POs and documents.
- Conduct cycle counts and support monthly stock-takes.
- Monitor wastage, damages, discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate stock records and organized storage.
C. Delivery & Logistics
- Plan daily delivery schedules and ensure timely dispatch.
- Oversee loading, routing, and driver performance.
- Resolve delivery delays, customer feedback, and documentation issues.
D. Team Leadership
- Supervise drivers, receivers, and warehouse assistants.
- Conduct daily briefings and assign tasks.
- Train staff on SOPs, safety procedures, and product handling.
- Monitor discipline, performance, attendance, and overtime.
E. SOPs & Continuous Improvement
- Implement and enforce warehouse SOPs and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and temperature requirements.
- Improve workflows to reduce wastage and increase efficiency.
F. Strategic & Ad-Hoc Support
- Support company-wide strategic initiatives when required.
- Execute ad-hoc operational tasks that contribute to business growth and efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Min. 5 years in warehouse/logistics operations, must be well versed with fresh/frozen goods.
- Team leadership experience required.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Basic WMS/Excel capability.
- Comfortable working in cold storage areas and variable hours.
- Willing to travel (only when necessary).
- Willing to monitor staff regardless of shift.
