Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse activities in a manufacturing setting, ensuring raw materials, components, and finished goods are stored, handled, and dispatched efficiently to meet production schedules and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

Material & Inventory Management

• Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials and components
• Track inventory levels and conduct cycle counts
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices for perishable or sensitive materials

Production Support

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely supply of materials
• Align warehouse operations with manufacturing schedules
• Prevent downtime by maintaining buffer stock

Logistics & Distribution

• Oversee shipping of finished goods to customers or distribution centers
• Liaise with transport providers for timely deliveries
• Resolve discrepancies in shipments
• Supervise warehouse staff and assign daily tasks
• Train employees on safety, equipment use, and SOPs
• Monitor performance and encourage continuous improvement

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety standards (OSHA, ISO, RBA/WCA compliance)
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard‑free facilities
• Ensure audit‑ready documentation for inspections

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP)
• Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and supply chain processes
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in management (manufacturing industry preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing management (preferred)
