Oversee daily operations across multiple warehouse locations for an FMCG company, ensuring efficient receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods. This role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, leading and training staff, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing warehouse processes. The manager will collaborate with logistics teams, implement process improvements, and report performance metrics to senior management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee Daily Operations
    Manage all aspects of warehouse operations across multiple locations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure smooth flow of goods and materials, meeting both internal and external customer requirements.
  • Inventory Management
    Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control across multiple warehouses. Conduct regular stock checks and audits to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies. Implement and maintain effective systems for tracking inventory movement, both inbound and outbound.
  • Team Management & Training
    Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring they are adequately trained and motivated to meet performance expectations.
  • Health and Safety Compliance
    Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline and optimize supply chain processes, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Process Improvement
    Continuously evaluate warehouse processes, identifying areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency. Implement cost‑effective solutions to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize space utilization.
  • Performance Reporting
    Prepare and present detailed reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics to senior management and stakeholders. Use data‑driven insights to support decision‑making and drive operational improvements.
Job Requirements
  • Extensive years (likely 5+) of experience in warehouse management within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing teams.
  • In‑depth knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management software (WMS), and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify issues and implement solutions.
