Warehouse Manager (E-commerce Fulfilment)
Manage daily e-fulfilment operations including order picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
Oversee warehouse productivity, space utilization, manpower planning, and shift scheduling.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
Inventory Management
- Ensure inventory accuracy across systems (WMS / AX).
- Monitor stock levels, aging inventory, and replenishment planning.
- Lead cycle count and stock audit activities to minimize variance and shrinkage.
Order Management & SLA Performance
- Monitor order fulfilment KPIs such as order accuracy, OTIF, order cycle time, and backlog.
- Ensure compliance with customer and marketplace SLAs (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.).
- Handle operational escalations and root cause analysis for fulfilment issues.
- Coordinate with couriers/3PL transporters to ensure on-time collection and service quality.
System & Data Management
- Analyze operational data and dashboards (e.g. Power BI) to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Support system enhancements, automation, and process digitalization projects.
Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and operations teams.
- Set clear performance targets and conduct regular reviews.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Cost & Budget Control
- Manage fulfilment operating costs including labor, packaging, and logistics.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality.
- Support annual budgeting and forecast planning.
Other Duties
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties or projects assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- At least 8 years of experience in e-commerce fulfilment, warehouse operations including managerial experience.
- Strong exposure to B2C e-commerce fulfilment workflow, WMS system and marketplace operations in Malaysia.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in KPI tracking and reporting.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with hands-on experience managing foreign workers in warehouse and e-fulfilment operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and operational planning capabilities.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Exposure to automation, system integration, or process optimization projects.
- Familiarity with Malaysian courier networks and last-mile operations.
